‘Make all children count! Ensuring the realization of children’s rights through data collection initiatives’

The recommendations issued from the conference were presented during a side event of the 38th session of the Human Rights Council held in Geneva from 18 June to 6 July 2018.
This event was organized by the Federal Public Service Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Belgium in cosponsorship with the Permanent Mission of China to the United Nations in Geneva.
The event was opened by H.E. Mr. Geert MUYLLE, Permanent Representative of Belgium to the United Nations and other international organizations established in Geneva.
Mrs. Karen VAN LAETHEM, President of the National Commission for the Rights of the Child, introduced and moderated the discussions between the different members of the Panel who were invited as experts:
